Michelle Blanchard Au.D. CCC-A

Audiologist

Dr. Michelle Blanchard earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of South Florida. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Florida State University. Dr. Blanchard became interested in the field of Audiology after volunteering throughout middle and high school with deaf and blind/deaf individuals in her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Blanchard is trained in the areas of comprehensive audiological evaluations for patients of all ages, advanced hearing aid technology, Electronystagmography, Vestibular Autorotation, Auditory Brainstem Response, Electrocochleography, Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials and Intraoperative monitoring. She is also proficient in sign language. She is a licensed audiologist in the state of Florida and is a member of the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dr. Blanchard has attended numerous professional seminars and workshops.


Kristina Brendzel M.A. CCC-A FAAA

Audiologist

Kristina Brendzel earned her Master’s Degree in Audiology from Michigan State University. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Western Michigan University. Ms. Brendzel is trained in the areas of comprehensive audiological evaluations for patients of all ages, advanced hearing aid technology, Videonystagmography, Vestibular Autorotation, Auditory Brainstem Response, Electrocochleography, Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials, tinnitus evaluation and treatment, cochlear implant candidacy evaluations, and post implant programming. Ms. Brendzel is a licensed audiologist in the state of Florida and a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology.


Allison H. Kastner, Au.D., CCC-A

Audiologist

Dr. Allison Kastner earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of South Florida. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from University of Florida. Dr. Kastner’s clinical training in comprehensive diagnostics includes audiometry, otoacoustic emissions, advanced hearing aid technology, Videonystagmography, Vestibular Autorotation, Auditory Brainstem Response, Electrocochleography, and Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials. She has a particular interest in the management of vestibular disorders including Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy and vast experience performing Canalith Repositioning Maneuvers. She is a licensed audiologist in the state of Florida and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Kastner attends numerous professional seminars and is certified by the American Board of Audiology.


Deirdre Hamaker Au.D. CCC-A

Audiologist

Dr. Deirdre Hamaker earned her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of South Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Policy Management from Providence College in Rhode Island. In addition to her audiological training at USF, she completed a one year externship at James A. Haley Veterans Administration where she gained experience in assessment and treatment with geriatrics and poly-trauma patients. She also completed tinnitus research and treatment at this facility. Her complete training includes comprehensive audiological evaluations, hearing aid programming using the latest technology, bone anchored hearing aid programming, electronystagmography (ENG), vestibular autorotation (VAT), auditory brainstem response (ABR), Electrocochleography (EcochG), Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials (VEMP), tinnitus evaluation and treatment, cochlear implant candidacy evaluations, and post implant programming. Dr. Hamaker is licensed in the state of Florida and she is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and of the American Speech Language hearing Association.


Eric Moon B.S.

OTO Technician

Eric Moon, B.S., is an Otology Technician. Mr. Moon has his Bachelor of Science degree from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, OK. Mr. Moon is an affiliate member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. He has completed the Certificate Program for Otolaryngology Personnel for hearing assessment. Mr. Moon has completed professional education programs for vestibular disorders, videonystagmography, and vestibular evoked myogenic potentials sponsored by GN Otometrics, Micromedical Technologies, and Vestibular Seminars. Mr. Moon's electrophysiology clinical skills were developed at the center. Mr. Moon's areas of interest include: evaluation and assessment of vestibular function and rehabilitation of patients with dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders; hearing evaluation, auditory brainstem responses, electrocochleography, electronystagmography, vestibular autorotation, vestibular evoked myogenic potentials, and physical therapy treatments for Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo.
